Job Summary:
Exceed Medical is seeking a fellowship trained, board-certified/board-eligible Neurocritical Care Physician to join our growing Neuroscience Program in Oklahoma City. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dedicated neurocritical care unit within a comprehensive stroke center supporting a rapidly expanding neurosurgical program.
The Exceed Neuroscience Team currently consists of 7 Neurointensivist Physicians, Neurology and Neurocritical Care APPs, and Neurohospitalists as well as several Neurophysiologists. Successful candidates will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting, providing exceptional care to patients with critical neurological conditions.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat complex disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.
Perform comprehensive or problem-focused histories and physical assessments for adult patients with neurological conditions.
Synthesize and analyze patient data using critical thinking skills.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient needs accurately.
Formulate and implement evidence-based, outcomes-focused treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Prescribe and manage pharmacological treatments, ensuring efficacy and safety.
Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient responsiveness to therapy.
Provide patient and family counseling regarding neurological conditions and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic medical records.
Participate in teaching and training Advanced Practice Providers and/or Residents.
Complete timely, accurate billing consistent with medical record documentation.
Stay updated on advancements in neurology and neurocritical care treatments.
Job Requirements:
Board certified or Board eligible in Neurology with Neurocritical Care Fellowship training.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional, affable demeanor with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
